"Studying at York is great for many reasons. As a historical city, York's got a lot to offer in terms of culture and history, there's a vibrant mix of nationalities among the university students, and the campus is beautiful and relaxing. Most importantly, though, is the fact that the university has a great reputation, which will set its students up for great jobs after they graduate.
The MA in Conflict Governance and Development has allowed me to follow my interest in development across the world, and given me the theoretical and analytical tools to adapt myself to different situations. The course has also meant I've got to know people I wouldn't have otherwise met, and become part of a diverse community of postgraduate students.
I've loved everything about my time at York - the staff, the teaching, the postgraduate community, the opportunities, and my achievements!"
