Expressive non-verbal communication in ensemble performance

Part of the AHRC funded WRoCAH Network ‘Expressive non-verbal communication in ensemble performance’ this project exploits electrolaryngography and acoustic analysis to explore synchronisation in vocal ensembles. In particular using technology to assess the subconscious mechanisms that govern temporal synchronization and interpersonal communication between singers during ensemble performances, investigated through the assessment of acoustic cues and expressive alignment.
