Our research deals with the design of a wide variety of communication systems, including cellular, high altitude platforms, ad hoc, wireless sensor networks and most recently heterogeneous systems. We have a lot of experience in developing resource management solutions to wireless communication problems in challenging environments, such as satellites and underwater networks.

A key strength of the group is our ability to deal with several important layers of the protocol stack. In this research area, emphasis is placed on the data link layer and higher layers.
