Research

Overview

My current research is focused on developments and applications of the nuclear density functional theory (DFT), and in particular on:

  • Building novel nonlocal higher-order density functionals
  • Deriving nuclear DFT from ab initio calculations
  • Building theories of nuclear fission beyond thermal and adiabatic approximations
  • Studying DFT description of nuclear magnetic moments
  • Applying nuclear DFT to searches of nuclear and atomic electric dipole moments (EDMs)
