Hungarian Festival of Science 2024

For more than twenty years each November the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) has organised events for the celebration of Hungarian science. This distinguished event of Hungarian scientific life includes programmes held both in Hungary and abroad. The festival aims to promote scientific achievements, raise public awareness about current research, and encourage collaboration between academic institutions and society. This year's motto is "Scientific consulting in the service of society", and as a consequence magnetic confinement fusion is a highlighted research topic for playing an important role in a sustainable future. The celebration highlights the importance of scientific research and innovation by Hungarians in the world, featuring public lectures, exhibitions, and discussions with renowned scientists.
