Philosophy MA Conference 2023
Event details
This year's Philosophy MA Conference will run from 9.20am-4.30pm, Wednesday the 24th to Friday the 26th of May, in the Treehouse, Berrick Saul Building (BS/104).
MA students will each give a roughly 20-minute presentation on their research, followed by Q&A.
In addition, the Conference will feature two keynote speakers:
- Harvard University's Dr Nicolas Prevelakis speaking on 'The Problem of Evil in Different Religious Traditions' at 1pm on the 24th May (online) and
- Dr Hannah Carnegy-Arbuthnott on 'Cultural Appropriation and Group Ownership Rights' at 1.15pm on the 26th May.
