The York Management School offers six Masters programmes which reflect the latest thinking and research in management and business finance. These are aimed at a wide range of applicants wanting either an advanced general management qualification or one that offers some specialisation in business finance, human resources or health management.
A member of the influential Russell Group of leading UK universities, the University of York is among the top 100 world universities and is consistently a top performing UK university.
TSYS is the first company to offer a postgraduate sponsorship to the York Management School. The TSYS Masters Scholarship will be launched in Spring 2014 and will be available to all students applying for Masters programme admission in the academic year 2014-2015. Availability will continue until 2028.
“A guiding principle of the York Management School is that to be effective in management requires knowledge of its social and economic context and understanding of its practical application,” said Dean of the School, Professor Jill Schofield.
“That is why we are delighted to be able to work with TSYS in offering postgraduate students not only the opportunity to receive much needed funding for their studies but the opportunity to develop connections with an international business like TSYS. We are enormously grateful for TSYS’ support and decision to partner with us.”
“At TSYS, we seek high caliber talent to join our company,” said Kelley Knutson, Executive Vice President, TSYS International. “Supporting the York Management School allows us to raise our profile as a good employer locally, while ensuring that we continue to invest and develop the right team members for the future global economy.”
As part of TSYS’ sponsorship, the Bob Evans Business Lecture will also take place annually. The lecture is dedicated to the memory of the company’s former Managing Director of Europe, who passed away in May 2013.
