York in the First XI of UK universities

In our 50th anniversary year, The Times and Sunday Times assessment of us as ‘a genuinely world-class university’ is a recognition of ‘just how far York has come in a relatively short time.’ The Guide adds that York’s: ‘entrance requirements are high and the dropout rate of less than 5 per cent is among the lowest in the country.’
