York has been nominated as University of the Year and for the Widening Participation Initiative of the Year.
The University has also been nominated in the International Collaboration of the Year category for the work of Centre for Novel Agricultural Products (CNAP) on its Artemisia Research Project.
Dr Nicola McDonald, of the Department of English and Related Literature, was nominated as Most Innovative Teacher of the Year.
There were nearly 500 entries across 18 categories of the awards which are now in their sixth year. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 25 November.
