I believe industry-based projects involving our research staff, students and industry representatives can deliver great benefits to all concerned

Professor Steven Toms, Head of York Management School

Head of School, Professor Steven Toms said: "As one of Britain's newest Management Schools, we are keen to work innovatively with industrial partners. Industry funded research projects are already an important part of our activities and we have very entrepreneurial students. I believe industry-based projects involving our research staff, students and industry representatives can deliver great benefits to all concerned and to the regional and national economy."

Earlier, Richard Lambert had received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of York.
