Geoff Oxford

Geoff Oxford joined the University of York in 1972 as a lecturer in population genetics, and retired about five years ago.  His research into colour variation in various spider species and the distributions and hybridisation of Large House spiders continues. He is past president of the British Arachnological Society and is currently president of the Yorkshire Naturalists' Union.
