Faye Prior

Faye gained her doctorate in History of Art at York, specialising in architecture and civic identity. She has an especial interest in fashion history, and is currently researching key items from the Castle Museum’s costume and textiles collection for the forthcoming exhibition Shaping the Body. She runs a sewing group where volunteers help to make replica Victorian clothing for use in the museum.
