Gae Spedalieri

Gaetana completed her Masters degree at the University of Rome and earned a PhD in Biology from the University of Camerino, Italy. While spending one year at MIT as a visiting researcher, she was intrigued by quantum information and the new field of quantum biology. She is now completing her second PhD in Computer Science at York, studying how quantum properties could be exploited to improve statistical tests which have potential applications to biology and medicine.
