Sarah studied Geography at St Peter’s College, Oxford. After her degree she realised that she knew a very small amount about lots of different things, and decided she wanted to learn more about nature. She enrolled part-time on a Biodiversity and Conservation MSc at the University of Leeds, funded by a boring administration job, and to keep her sanity started volunteering once a week with TCV in York, doing environmental education. She loved inspiring people about nature and couldn’t believe it when in 2008 SEI wanted to employ her on the OPAL project to do just that! Since then Sarah has continued to work at SEI on this project, and others involving engaging people with nature and environmental issues.
