Archaeological investigations are being currently being carried out around the Roman town of Cataractonium. So far, Roman items such as brooches, candelabras and decorated boxes have been identified to a depth of up to three metres below surface level. These important finds give a new insight into the lives of the people of Cataractonium almost 2000 years ago. Come along to learn more and see and handle some of the finds for yourself!
