The National Railway Museum is preparing for the completion of the restoration of Flying Scotsman, one of the world’s most famous locomotives, later this year. Set to return to the rails in 2016, Flying Scotsman will star in an exciting new programme of events and activities exploring the celebrity of this steam giant. Our curatorial team have been investigating the history of this iconic locomotive and charting its rollercoaster career. Join us to find out more and sample our Flying Scotsman cocktail, recreated from the original recipe.
