Event details

This exhibition explores the differences of cooking, food, and the way of eating in the Stone age between Europe and northeast Asia, based on recent achievements of archaeological research.  While in Europe they had livestock such as cattle, sheep, goats and pigs, Asia didn't have these food resourced. Pottery residue analysis revealed the clear differences of cooking pot use: milk and meat processing in the former and fish boiling in the latter. Come along to learn about these differences through pictures, figures and a short movie!
