Sarah Andrews

Currently, Sarah Andrews is studying for her BSc Molecular Cell Biology degree at the University of York. She is jointly-leading the iGEM York team this year.

“Originally, I decided to get involved with the iGEM project in order to gain invaluable laboratory experience. However, I have not only learnt new and exciting new laboratory skills, I have also learnt how to fundraise, negotiate sponsorship deals and present to the general public. Through working on this project, I have met inspirational researchers and I have identified that I would like to pursue a career in research.”
