Maria Razalan

Maria Razalan is a 2nd year PhD student in the Department of Biology.

“My research, funded by the EU Marie Curie project, is focused on engineering plant enzymes for their application as green catalysts in industrial bio-transformations. I really enjoy bringing science out of the lab and to the public. At YorNight, I will guide the visitors through the GreenSTEMS exhibition and run the Green scientist for a day lottery.”
