Jess Dangerfield

Jess Dangerfield is a research intern at the Centre for the Integration of Research, Conservation and Learning (CIRCLE), based at Flamingo Land Zoo.

“I am studying the contribution of zoos to field conservation by assessing publications. After finishing my degree in Zoology at Royal Holloway University of London, I worked in Costa Rica studying butterflies. I’m mostly interested in insect biology although all animal diversity fascinates me.”

“I have always enjoyed wildlife and activities such as hiking, climbing and being outdoors and I also enjoy travelling and visiting museums. “
