Ian Ingram

Ian is a post-doctoral researcher in the Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence with a background in functional polymers, nanotechnology, sensors and organic electronics.

“My current work is part of a new EPSRC funded platform grant aiming to develop routes to replace petrochemically derived plastics with new materials made from biomass and carbon dioxide. At YorNight, I will collaborate with the other GCCE members to present waste biomass as a resource and some of the things that can be made from it.”
