Aleksandra McClain‌

Aleksandra McClain is a lecturer in the Department of Archaeology at the University of York. She received her BA in Archaeological Studies from Yale University, and her MA and PhD in Medieval Archaeology from the University of York.

“I specialise in churches and commemoration, and I have particular expertise in English parish churches and 'cross slab' grave monuments. I’m currently carrying out a project entitled Cross Slabs in Northern England 1000-1600.”
