Steven Oliver

Steven Oliver is a Senior Lecturer in Population Health in the Department of Health Sciences and Hull York Medical School (HYMS).

In 2008 Steven became the Epidemiology Lead for Haematological Malignancies for the Northern and Yorkshire Cancer Registry and Information Service (NYCRIS), the national lead research organisation for these cancers within the National Cancer Intelligence Network (NCIN). He developed a work programme based on the analysis of routine data sets and since 1999 he has been closely involved in the design and management of a number of inter-related research projects into the aetiology, detection and treatment of prostate cancer.
