Maureen Wakefield

Maureen Wakefield is a senior applied entomologist at The Food and Environment Research Agency whose current research focuses on integrated pest management of agriculturally important invertebrate pests and invasive species.

“My research interests include the development of novel control methods, including the use of biological control agents and understanding insect behaviour, particularly with regard to detection and monitoring and insect chemical ecology. I’m currently working on the PROteINSECT project.”
