Growing up close to Hadrian’s Wall got me interested in archaeology. I love asking questions about the past, looking for answers, and especially knowing that every answer opens up more new questions! My job involves working with people all over the UK who want to share their archaeological research: my favourite part is seeing the look on someone’s face when they realise that the object in their hand is many thousands of years old. It’s the best way to get close to the past.
