Event details

The ChartEx project was a collaboration between historians and computer scientists across six Universities in four countries in Europe and North America. Their aim was to train computers to read, understand and reconstruct the contexts of medieval charters with the ultimate goal of making such digital resources more accessible and useful to the general public. Their research approaches have included Natural Language Processing, Data Mining and Human Computer Interaction.
