Event details

Join us for an innovative lecture and workshop exploring the emerging field of co-creation in sustainability solutions. Drawing from her extensive experience, Professor van Zeijl-Rozema will examine how co-creative approaches differ from traditional participatory methods and when they are most effective in addressing complex sustainability challenges.

This session represents the launch of an exciting new scholarly project aimed at developing a robust academic framework around co-creation practices in sustainability. While co-creation has been a recurring theme throughout Professor van Zeijl-Rozema's career and has demonstrated significant benefits, she believes the approach requires more substantive theoretical development and practical guidance.

The session will be structured in two parts
- A presentation examining the current state of co-creation in sustainability contexts, exploring its conceptual foundations and relationship to participatory approaches
- A collaborative workshop where participants will contribute to developing a "living repository" of best practices, failures, and methodological insights

This initiative seeks to bring together scholars and practitioners globally to collectively build knowledge around when and how co-creation works most effectively. Your participation and insights will help shape this emerging field of study.
