York Politics Society event

This Monday the Directors of the think-tank ‘Compassion in Politics’ and experts on climate science, philosophy and a founding member of the organisation Southall Black Sisters join us to discuss their thoughts on how compassion can transform our politics, our society and our economy. They explore how compassion can be a tool to overcome major problems faced by the modern world, including the climate crisis and addressing economic, racial and gender inequality. Their discussions will preview the content for their upcoming book ‘How Compassion can Transform our Politics, Economy and Society’, which adopts a pioneering approach to the study of politics.
