This project aims to develop a story generation system to facilitate interactive drama for multiple users in a shared environment. Its starting point is the GADIN story engine (Generator of Adaptive Dilemma-based Interactive Narratives), and it explores the potential of this system as the basis for a model for assisted collaborative narrative creativity; but the project also raises new technical and narratological issues about the concept of interactive narrative itself. The multi-player interactive drama project is a collaboration with Daniel Kudenko and builds upon the work of the GIDY group (Games and Interactive Drama at York) in Computer Science.
