Fictionality before and beyond Fiction

The ICNS is one of the main participants in a network funding proposal led by Henrik Skov Nielsen under the title "Fictionality before and beyond Fiction." The project, which is targeted at funding from the Danish Research Council, combines the Aarhus emphasis upon fictionality outside of generic fictions ("beyond") and the York Fictionality group's interest in the historicity of cultural uses of fictionality ("before").
