Call for papers for an online conference in April 2021

The Aachen Center for Cognitive and Empirical Literary Studies is organising an online conference for young researchers titled "Narratives of Body and Mind", which will take place 8.-10.04.2021. It specifically targets Master's students, PhD students and early Post-Docs who wish to connect with like-minded (inter-) disciplinary ideas. The conference will examine research in which narrative theory meets narratives of the body, narratives of the mind and the common ground between them.

Applications should be linked to cognitive and/or empirical literary studies in general and could be connected to one of the following research areas: Narratives and Conceptions of Health, Narratives and Conceptions of Space, Narratives of Disability and Genre, Narratives and Conceptions of Gender, Speculative Narratives and Storyworlds, Empirical Approaches to Experientiality.
