Tuesday 22 May 2012, 3.00PM
You are warmly invited to an informal interview with Tanya Gerstle, one of Australia's leading directors and actor trainers, based at the University of Melbourne.
Tanya has a six week residency funded by the Centre for Modern Studies and the Department of Theatre, Film and Television and is keen to share her knowledge about classical and contemporary drama, performing and directing with those who are interested.
Tanya will talk about her international work in drama, about ways of working on plays, and about the importance of embodied knowledge and interdisciplinarity in her work. Tanya will be available for one-to-ones, to read dramatic scripts or performance pieces, and to advise anyone who is thinking about working in the arts. This is an opportunity to come and meet her at the beginning of her residency.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Location: The Treehouse, Berrick Saul Building
