Gillian Harkins is Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of Washington, Seattle and the author of Everybody's Family Romance: Reading Incest in Neoliberal America (University of Minnesota Press, 2009). Her current work examines the relationship between visual technologies, the sex predator, and transformations in American capital.
