Merz North 4

Wednesday 22 March 2017, 10.30AM to 5.00ppm

MerzNorth is a loose organisation of artists, curators and academics from the North of England with an interest in the legacy of the artist Kurt Schwitters and the site of his final art work, the Merz Barn, in the Lake District.

York is hosting the fourth gathering of MerzNorth to consider the theme of 'Merz. Memory and the Museum' in advance of the reopening of the refurbished Hatton Gallery in Newcastle this autumn, with the Merz Barn Wall given pride of place in its new displays and further plans for the original site of the barn in Elterwater.

Contact Michael White (michael.white@york.ac.uk) for more details.
