Hannah Pinsent will be speaking about the hierarchical consequences of acts of global mourning in the aftermath of the Paris attacks. She will be considering the French flag as a reorienting symbol in the aftermath of terrorism.
The talk will be 20-30 mins long, after which there will be questions and a discussion over wine and cheese. There will also be vegan and gluten free options.
