Business and Partnership Manager (non-student facing).
This role is responsible for leading the non-student facing administrative team and ensuring the department runs as efficiently as possible
Responsibilities are listed below:
- Continuous Professional Development Manager - organises and coordinates training courses for external stakeholders
- Reviews, develops and implements department processes to ensure efficiency
- Local Safeguarding Officer (LSO)
- Departmental Safety Adviser (DSA)
- Department Training Officer (DTO)
- Department Dignity Contact
- Department First Aider and Department Health and Safety Officer
- Mental Health First Aider
- Departmental Equipment Assessor (DSE)
- Member of the Department Management Team (DMT)
- Member of the Faculty Health, Safety and Welfare Committee
- Department Website Contact
- Financial Manager including signing off expenses, tracking core budget, procurement and approving spending
- Workload Allocation Model coordinator for academics in line with the Head of Department
- Staff handbook and information
- Chair of Space Committee
- Building manager (Estates, Space Management including assigning desk/office space for staff)
- Coordinating shared email inboxes within the teams
- Coordinates the managing of information for staff including the Virtual Learning Environment (Blackboard)
- Ensures information within the department for non-student facing elements are up to date
