Looking to a Greener Future
We discussed our university collaboration with colleagues across the University, and learned more about the research and education work that we are doing together on a range of 'Greener Future' topics.
Our visitors had a really interesting visit to Brightlands Chemelot, to the Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials (AMIBM), and the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) and the Department of Advanced Computing Science to explore collaboration on biobased materials, plasma, robotics and AI. They also learned about our work to develop a joint doctorate between Maastricht and York. Professors Jeffrey and Badcock joined the Dies Natalis cortege and ceremony and enjoyed meeting UM professors from across the university.
Sustainability is a priority for both universities, so we are keen to explore new collaborations that build on complementary strengths in sustainability research across all disciplines.
