This is a course for anyone interested in writing poetry, whether you have some experience or are entirely new to it. Across the term, you’ll explore ways of writing about the natural world around you. Whether it’s lyric, collage poetry, found poetry, or visual poetry (to name but a few!) on this course you’ll get the chance to find your way of writing poetry about the natural world. Each week we’ll take a new approach, drawing on the work of the best contemporary ‘ecopoets’, and by the end of this course you will have built a portfolio of your own work to take with you on the next step of your poetry journey.
