This is a course for anyone interested in visual poetry, whether you are a complete beginner or have written some poetry before. In this one-day workshop you will explore a range of visual poetry examples, encountering the best among contemporary visual poets and small arts presses as inspiration for your own work. In the morning, you will explore ways of writing with water, letting this element form and co-write your poems. And in the afternoon, you will write a pratice-led poetry experiment to take out into nature.
