The social world is a complex and ever-changing system which makes it perfect for curious learners. This module, through a series of themed workshops, guides you through some of the key ideas and ways researchers have begun to understand the contemporary world around us. In this module you will focus on concepts such as: the family, social class, education, the economy, politics and globalisation. This module is for anyone who wants to understand society better.
