In Short: Writing the Short Story

This module introduces writers to specific techniques required to write effective and compelling short stories; for example: plotting, character, structure and pacing. Classical, modern and contemporary texts will be explored to investigate techniques for your own writing. In class we will discuss and practice techniques and students will have the opportunity to share work for feedback through the online website. Suitable for beginners as well as those who have already started to write.
