For over 30 years, the University of York has been providing exceptional, wide-ranging evening and day classes to the general public through the Centre for Lifelong Learning, bringing together like-minded adults for learning in a variety of subject areas. Many of our courses are run in collaboration with local community partners.

Visiting the Centre

Lifelong Learning staff are primarily working mainly from home. However the Centre will now be open on Thursdays from 9.30am-3.30pm. Our office is based at Alcuin College B Block.

You are welcome to visit us to book on to courses but we would advise that you contact the office in advance of visiting to ensure that staff will be available to see you and to get further details on how to access the office.

Please note, we do not have a card machine, so we can only accept payment by cheque or cash in the office.

You can ring us on 01904 328473 and leave a voicemail, but we would recommend trying an email in the first instance.
