Faculty Librarian team

Our Faculty Librarian team offer information literacy teaching within taught modules, bespoke guidance for students to search for resources and consultancy for academic staff to ensure the library meets your teaching and research needs.

Digital Inclusion, Skills and Creativity (DISC)

Our Digital Inclusion, Skills and Creativity (DISC) team provide digital skills support to all University members, covering digital literacy, Google workspace, digital accessibility and more. They run the Creativity Lab and YorCreate makerspace in the library.

Learning Enhancement

Our Learning Enhancement team deliver provision to enhance students’ academic skills (including writing, communication, study skills, maths and statistics) via workshops, online resources and one-to-one appointments. They coordinate the Academic Skills Community.

Open Research team

Our Open Research team promote and facilitate open research practice at the University, including open access publishing and research data management.

Archives and Research Collections

Archives and Research Collections curate and provide access to archives and rare books, provide records management and digital preservation services and manage the University art collection and our partnership with York Minster Library.
