From Friday 26th July, we will no longer be posting any Library items internationally. We will also no longer be refunding the postage costs of returning items from outside of the UK.

You can still access eResources online through YorSearch, including Ebooks, which you may find a useful alternative when studying away from Campus. See our Ebooks guide for more information.

If you currently have any items on loan through using the international postal loans service, you can still continue to use them as long as you like (or until it is requested by another user or you leave the University), and you can still return the item by post from anywhere in the world. However, if you return items by post from outside of the UK, after Friday 26th July, we will not be able to refund any postage costs.

If you post any returns from outside of the UK before this date, please keep the receipt as evidence of the date of postage and we will refund any postage costs for items posted before 26th July, regardless of when the delivery arrives at the Library.

If you are unable to return items by post, and won’t be able to visit Campus before then, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss how we can help.
