The library will open 24/7 from 8 January to 4 February
To support exam preparation and revision, we will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from 8am on Monday 8 January until we close at midnight on 4 February.
🕒 The reason we open 24/7 is to give you the flexibility to study on your terms during the exam period; we want you to be able to study at your peak hours of productivity. While the library doors stay open around the clock, we encourage you to take breaks, grab a snack, and above all get proper amounts of sleep. Your well-being must always be your priority! Working through the night is often a false-economy - although you make progress in the short term, your body doesn't thank you for it and your ability to revise over the next few days is reduced.
💧 Stay Hydrated, Stay Sharp: Hydration is key to keeping your mind sharp. Don't forget to sip on water regularly – it's a small act with a big impact on your focus and productivity.
⏰ Set Break Reminders: Use our extended hours wisely! Set regular alarms or reminders to take short breaks. Stretch, breathe, and let your mind recharge. A well-rested mind is a high-performing mind.
🙌 Not to be too cheesy but... you can do this! Exams are hard for everyone, no matter what it looks like from the outside. Support your fellow students, share study tips, and celebrate small victories. We're a community that thrives on collaboration and encouragement.
See you at the library. If you have any questions, as always, please get in touch.
