Biography

Professor Scott Slorach
MA (Oxon), Solicitor (non-practising)

Director of Learning and Teaching, and Faculty Deputy Associate Director of Learning & Teaching

I joined York Law School in 2014.  I qualified as solicitor in the City, working with McKenna & Co (now CMS) then Allen & Overy. My previous roles in Higher Education include Professor of Curriculum Development at Nottingham Trent University, and Vice-President (Education) and Board Member of the University of Law. I have held visiting appointments with the Singapore Institute of Legal Education, The College of Law Australia, and the University of Strathclyde. I have also held appointments with The Law Society and Solicitors Regulation Authority.
