This was a two day workshop and edited collection, partly funded through the SLS Small Project and Events Fund.

The workshop was open to all, held at the York Law School, University of York on 11-12 January 2019. The workshop aimed to revisit, reframe, and reconsider key debates about the nature and shape of contract law in the light of the impact that statutes have had on its development.
