Biography

Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I currently teach first and second year undergraduates the core legal subject areas (Criminal, Tort, Contract, Property, Equity & Trusts, Constitutional & Administrative, and EU Law).

I simultaneously work as a Research Associate to Dr Jed Meers on a variety of projects with a focus on Constitutional & Administrative Law. A selection of projects I have been involved with are:
- Analysis of arbitration decisions under the Commercial Rent (Coronavirus) Act 2022.
- In collaboration with the Vulnerability & Policing Futures Research Centre, analysis of the legislative trend of imposing statutory duties upon public officials to consider ‘vulnerable’ members of the public.
- Analysis of ‘freeman on/of the land’ pseudolaw around non-payment of council tax.
