Jemma Tee
LLB (Hons), LPC (Merit) (University of Wales, Aberystwyth), Solicitor (Non-Practising)

Associate Lecturer

I qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and worked in both the public and private sectors until 2020.

I joined York Law School in 2022 as an Associate Lecturer.

Previously, I worked with City of York Council where I practised as a solicitor for 7 years specialising in Public Childcare law, but also working with the Social Housing and Litigation teams.

During my early career I spent 5 years working in private practice undertaking predominantly family legal aid work, then later as the Head of the Family department.
