LLB (King's College London), Solicitor
I commenced my PhD at York Law School in 2019. My project focuses on English contract law and, specifically, the principles of contractual interpretation.
I am a practising solicitor, specialising in international commercial arbitration and litigation. I hold an undergraduate law degree from King's College London.
My research will explore the doctrinal basis for, and theoretical coherence of, the English law rule that evidence of conduct subsequent to the execution of a contract is inadmissible when interpreting that contract. The research concerns both the position under English law and the treatment of such conduct in other legal systems.
